GA: SHOW YOUR WORK: TELLING YOUR UX STORY

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

Though being a UX designer means research, sketching, iterating, and refining, much of the work is not seen in the final product or design. As a result, in addition to understanding the process, it’s important to be able to explain it. In this workshop, you’ll get the tools you need to help you get started and leave with a portfolio that really tells a story and sells your work. This class is for beginners and is perfect for anyone trying to break into the UX field or looking for a job as a UX designer.

Takeaways

  • Understand best practices for portfolio preparation.
  • Learn how to compile a portfolio that will attract hiring managers.

Prereqs & Preparation

Not required for this class, but if you have an existing portfolio or examples of your work, feel free to bring with you.
