Bring your creative ideas to life with Adobe Photoshop, the professional digital imaging standard, used by photographers and designers who want to perfect their digital images. Photoshop allows you to create powerful images and designs. This workshop is design to get you up and running with Adobe Photoshop. The focus will be on step-by-step instruction leading students through important tools and concepts in Photoshop.

Prereqs & Preparation

This is an introductory class designed for first time and beginning Photoshop users. No prior experience with Photoshop is required for this class. All students must be able to bring a laptop to each class (Mac preferred). You will need to have Adobe Photoshop version CS4 or higher already downloaded on this laptop for the start of class. The full version of Adobe Photoshop CS6 or the free 30-day trial version of it can be found here.


Michele Weisbart is a designer and illustrator. She has been a teaching for over ten years.

She has taught at UCLA Extension, Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandise and the Art Institute.

Michele is an active member of the Adobe Community and is the Co-Manager of the LAdobe User Group. Her illustrations have been used by Astute Graphics to promote their plug-ins. You can find out more about Michele and her work at
