In this class we'll learn how to set up a developer account with Apple, what tools to be aware of as you get started, resources available to learn iOS development, and much more. This class is perfect for someone looking to learn about mobile development and how to get started in one of the fastest growing industries in tech. Basically all the stuff you won't find in a book.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP LEADER

Yasin Dara is an experienced iOS Developer / Software Engineer, and a former Instructor in the field of Computer Science. He has a strong interest in Artificial Intelligence, and has done background research in machine learning, evolutionary computation, and natural language processing.

As a Data Scientist at Smilu Inc., Yasin has worked with large sets of data which involved recording, analysis, and processing of human interaction with various machine platforms. He has also worked on optimizing the RCSB Protein Database in conjunction with the Mathematics Department at the University of St. Thomas, and has extensive experience working with Amazon RDS systems, SQL, and Django based data storage.
