Make Your Own Chocolate Workshop

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

Participants will get a brief overview and history of chocolate.  An open discussion will be held to ask anything and everything about chocolate that you might have been curious about.

You will then dive in and make chocolate starting from cocoa butter.  You will be melting and adding in other ingredients which will provide everyone with about 8-12 custom pieces of chocolate.   These custom chocolates you will be able to take home with you.  There will also be a surprise chocolate lesson while you wait for your chocolate to solidify

The main idea is to show how chocolate can be made without fancy chocolate making equipment.  All the materials that you will need can be things that you have in your own home.  This skill will help craft and create holiday, birthday gifts or just chocolate that you can eat anytime!

This workshop is limited to only 15 participants!

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP LEADER

Ben Tseitlin has been making chocolate since 2009. What started as a hobby to make chocolate with more natural ingredients like wild honey became a chocolate business. To de-mystify the process of making chocolate and turn it into something anyone can make at home, he started this class in 2011 and since over 2,000 people have signed up in San Francisco & LA.
